Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Monitoring and Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting post-installation system monitoring issue resolution and data management to ensure optimal performance of residential solar energy systems. This role involves monitoring system alerts updating customer records coordinating with internal teams and assisting with case management in various platforms such as Salesforce Enphase and SolarEdge.


Responsibilities


System Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Activate solar systems for homes and businesses making sure they are approved and ready to operate.
  • Keep an eye on how the systems are performing and look into any problems by checking alerts and reports from platforms like Enphase and SolarEdge.
  • Create and review reports to track performance issues production drops and other system concerns.
  • Maintain lists of systems that need further investigation or are being watched for issues.

System Setup & Configuration:

  • Help map out new solar system setups on Enphase and SolarEdge.
  • Assist with creating login sheets and setup info for customer systems.
  • Set up accounts for a specific report system (Know True-Up or KTU) and manage those reports.
  • Help with setting up subcontractor accounts (limited tasks).
  • Map systems once they ve passed inspections.

Case Management & Record Updates:
  • Keep track of customer issues in the system making sure cases are updated and followed up on
  • Clean up old or duplicate records to keep things accurate.
  • Update customer details (like name and contact info) when needed.
  • Help with cases where funding might have been rejected.

General Administrative & Support Tasks:

  • Clean up and maintain data in monitoring systems.
  • Ensure all systems are tagged properly for easy tracking.
  • Work closely with other team members to solve problems and improve system performance.

Requirements

  • College educated
  • Candidates must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring
  • Must be comfortable with using Hubstaff a time-tracking application
  • Prior experience in solar energy system monitoring technical support or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with Enphase SolarEdge and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Professional-level English (written and verbal/voice)
Hardware Requirements
  • At least a 720p HD Webcam.
  • A noise-canceling headset.
  • At least a 25mbps primary internet connection.
  • A backup laptop backup internet connection device and backup power supply in case of power outage and emergencies.
  • Minimum recommendation for your main computer: Intel Core i5 or equivalent with 8 GB RAM or higher
  • Minimum recommended for your backup computer: Intel Core i3 4 GB RAM
