Job Description

BryceTech is currently seeking an experienced Contract Program Manager. This position will be supporting The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Operations Support Directorate (OSD). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management experience working with federal agencies and a deep understanding of technical program management in supporting frontline personnel who protect the nation from WMD terrorism; closing capability gaps along adversary pathways; and research and development portfolio management for innovative technologies to meet partner requirements and improve operations. This contract will require the Program Manager to lead personnel with operational backgrounds and planners to create products to aid in the execution of the mission from the USG down to the state local territorial and tribal level. The program manager will provide input and assistance in CWMD capability assessments; CWMD requirements development; CWMD related training and exercise support; and regional engagement support. Additionally they should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

The person in this role will:

  • The PM shall work through the COR to resolve issues receive technical instructions and ensure adequate performance of services
  • Ensures that required deliverables are accurate and provided to the customer within the specified time requirements per the contract.
  • Provides strategic direction vision leadership and program management supervision and counsel to BryceTechs contract award management team
  • Assist with the maintenance and development of the overall program plans and support project plans utilizing MS Project.
  • Maintains regular communication with the client and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitors project progress timelines and budgets.
  • Identifies performance measurement strategies and metrics to ensure consistent client support and proactive issue mitigation.
  • Identifies and mitigate project risks while communicating with all stakeholders and program members

Qualifications :

  • 15 years of progressive responsibility within DHS to include CWMD/CBRN or jurisdictional response management and training
  • Must have 5 years of experience in program and contract management in a technical environment
  • Must have demonstrated experience leading large geographically dispersed teams of 30
  • Active DoD or DHS Top Secret Clearance
  • Proficiency using MS Project
  • Proven ability to work in a team-based environment working cross-departmentally to complete projects as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills strong organizational skills initiative and follow-through and flexibility and responsiveness to changing requirements and conditions.
  • Advanced skill using Microsoft Office products (Word Excel Powerpoint Teams)
