DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility of a Team Leader in the Glass Department is to provide effective leadership clear communication and ongoing training to a team of employees. This role involves setting direction offering guidance and fostering a motivated work environment to ensure operational success. The Team Leader is accountable for achieving departmental goals by efficiently managing daily workflows delegating tasks and monitoring progress. By serving as both a mentor and facilitator the Team Leader cultivates a collaborative and high-performing team that aligns with the organizations standards and objectives.
Additionally a Glass Production Team Lead also has the following primary functions: prepare glass batches for their Intercept Glass Line with established production schedules using Glass On Demand Kanban. Safely maintain production and quality standards of their team at or above budget goals and meet daily performance to plan goals set forth by management.
