Job Description
DCS is seeking a motivated General Laborer/Landscaper with a positive attitude and strong work ethics. This position plays a key role in supporting our field operations by performing a variety of essential tasks.
Must have landscaping experience!
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload equipment
- Collect trash and large debris
- Cut and remove weeds
- Trim trees
- Operate company vehicles
- Safely use power tools and equipment
- Provide landscaping services
- Apply herbicides
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications :
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Valid drivers license with at least 3 years of clean driving history required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen DOT physical and federal background check for working on railroad property.
- Ability to travel up to two weeks at a time; hotel accommodations and per diem provided by DCS.
- Landscaping experience required.
- Herbicide application experience is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
