Apprentice Environmental Practitioner - Birmingham - Level 6 - July 25 start onwards

This position is ideally suited to either school leavers or individuals looking to make a career change. Prior experience of working in environmental consultancy is not necessary however to be accepted onto the University of Coventrys Environmental Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship programme you will need to meet the following minimum entry requirements: 

Heres what were looking for:

• Candidates will typically have a minimum of 120 UCAS points (or equivalent).  This would typically be at least three A-levels (including a a STEM related subject) or equivalent relevant Level 3 qualification/apprenticeship.

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or Scottish Standard Grade or Junior Certificate in Ireland) at grade C/4 or above including Mathematics & English

• Hardworking and enthusiastic. 

• Creative practical and adaptable. 

• Able to demonstrate attention to detail  

• Self-motivated and organised. 

• Commitment to continued education and improvement through on-the-job learning and training opportunities.

• Able to demonstrate excellent report writing skills with computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel 

• Ability to think in a methodical way to design plan and organize parts of projects

• Able to research and interpret information from a variety of sources 

• Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative team approach 

• Proficient in English and with excellent verbal and written communication skills; and 

• Willing and able to visit other locations on company business (if necessary

• Demonstrate an interest in and a desire to pursue a career within an Environmental Consultancy

• Willingness and ability to travel is essential. A full driving licence or access to reliable transport would be beneficial as the role will involve travel for site surveys and possible transportation of site equipment
