Job Description
Position Title: Cyber Security Director (Network Operations and Cybersecurity Program)
Location: Washington DC.
Position Summary: The Cybersecurity Director establishes and administers the overall strategies and procedures for the cybersecurity function across the organization. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity program aligned with DoD standards managing cybersecurity risks and promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness. The Director develops cybersecurity strategies and objectives as well as budgets policies and procedures to support a robust cybersecurity infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes and manages the cybersecurity program in accordance with DoD standards and requirements.
- Evaluates cybersecurity risks regularly and implements appropriate mitigation measures.
- Promotes cybersecurity awareness throughout the organization.
- Develops and implements cybersecurity strategies and objectives.
- Prepares and manages budgets policies and procedures to support cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Oversees the security of an integrated network as well as dispersed network groups.
- Manages a geographically dispersed workforce to ensure consistent application of cybersecurity measures.
Required Qualifications:
- Top Secret Clearance
- Experience managing a dispersed workforce in support of securing an integrated network and distributed networks
- Seven (7) years of information technology experience supporting DoD efforts
- Five (5) years of managerial experience supporting DoD efforts
- Bachelors degree in information technology or related field

- Advanced degree in Information Technology or related field
