Job Description
- Read and apply Screening SOP.
- Require data centre personnel to utilize metal detection and/or wand for entrance to and exit of
- secure areas.
- Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoint(s).
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when
- security breaches occur.
- Perform hand held wand searches.
- Perform walk through metal detection searches.
- Required to know and follow safe work practices and to be aware of company policies and
- procedures related to job safety including safety rules and regulations. Employees are required to
- notify superiors upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions.
- All functions duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest ethical and professional manner and
- to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of
- uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures employees are required to
- request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorised company representatives.
Qualifications :
Essential Skills
- SIA licence
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Data centre experience desired but not essential
- 3 years experience within the security industry
- Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history
- Visitor & Contractor Management
- Computer Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good time keeping
- Dedicated individual
- Must successfully complete all mandatory training in order to remain on the contract
- High Level of professionalism & command presence great customer service skills (white glove attitude)
- Reliable great team player with flexibility to support site and team
