Account Manager

The Corporate Account Manager role requires a positive and proactive service mentality and serves as a central point of contact for assigned corporate clients and key projects. The roles primary focus is on overall growth of the Agent & Broker (A&B) Group and CEU through retention and growth of these assigned accounts. This includes collaborating with A&B business development team members as needed to understand and support assigned clients. The roles secondary focus is to work closely with A&B leadership to assist with assignments undertaken to enhance service provided to corporate clients and to address their evolving purchasing needs.

What Youll Do:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate clients addressing service needs and providing issue resolution while maintaining agreed-upon service level standards and ensuring an overall positive experience.
  • Understands and supports corporate client strategies working in collaboration with A&B and CEU-focused marketing staff members to retain and expand client revenue.
  • Understands assigned clients needs and delivers program/product recommendations referencing in-place offerings with guidance from the A&B leadership.
  • Proactively manages Learning Management System (LMS) integrations with assigned clients.
  • Understands the processes and systems utilized by the A&B Group (SIMMS APEX Omni Websites etc.) and works collaboratively with A&B leadership to update or improve processes and use of systems including transitions to new solutions as needed.
  • Assists with the creation maintenance and implementation of customized client curriculums.
  • Assists with A&B Groups Salesforce CRM account including workflow management account and opportunity documentation and efficiency of corporate client and key person communications.
  • Provides supplemental support to Business Units for ongoing projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Assists with event logistics for education fairs industry trade shows professional development presentations and other meetings and events.

Collaboration and teamwork: Ability to work in in a team-oriented collaborative environment across organizational boundaries in a constructive and collaborative manner. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building listening and questioning skills.

Creativity and innovation: Ability to think strategically and identify problems and logically generate ideas in approaching resolution.

Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization both internally and externally. Ability to read understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to present information and respond to questions professionally and effectively conversationally and in written communications.

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or comparable work experience.
  • Two to three years experience in a team-based client-centric business environment (preferably remote or hybrid.)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and general office technology on an IBM (not a Mac) platform with proven ability to learn new systems.
  • Understanding of proprietary databases content and learning management systems (preferred).
  • Knowledge of The Institutes educational offerings business rules and practices (preferred).
