We are currently seeking a skilled Start up Technician with experience in HVAC plumbing and electrical systems for commercial environments particularly supermarkets.
Key Responsibilities
Start-up test and verify functionality of newly installed HVAC refrigeration plumbing and electrical systems.
Ensure all installations meet engineering specs manufacturer guidelines and local codes.
Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure proper system integration.
Interpret blueprints identify discrepancies and communicate necessary adjustments.
Install connect and calibrate thermostats sensors controllers and related components.
Troubleshoot and maintain commercial mechanical and plumbing systems.
Align and level equipment for optimal performance.
Provide clear communication and walk-throughs to customers on work performed.
Install or update controls and automation systems as needed.
Diagnose system issues using testing and visual inspections based on specifications.
Complete required documentation accurately and on time for compliance and invoicing.
Maintain truck inventory and follow vehicle maintenance protocols.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration ideally in supermarket environments.
EPA 608 Certification
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to read blueprints control drawings and technical documents.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable working at heights lifting up to 50 lbs and working evenings weekends or out of town if needed.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication leadership and teamwork skills.
