Senior Automation EngineerWhat does a successful Senior Automation Engineer do at Fiserv
You will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to run on Ingenico and Clover payment hardware. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our payment solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for Ingenico and Clover payment hardware
- Execute automated tests to validate the functionality performance and reliability of payment solutions
- Participate in the design and implementation of test plans and strategies
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and resolve issues
- Analyze test results identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancements
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in test automation
What you will need to have:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in test automation preferably in the payment industry.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java C# or Python.
What would be great to have:
- Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration tools
- Experience with Ingenico and/or Clover payment hardware.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of payment protocols and standards (EMV PCI).
- Certification in testing or quality assurance
