Welder Fabricator Opportunities inWixom Michigan!!!
A multinational company with a facility in Wixom Michigan is currently seeking several Welder - Fabricators for Long Term full time opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Welder- Fabricators looking for a company that offers job security competitive rates and premium rate overtime.
The position is full time long term with a starting hourly rate range of$25-$30 per hourbased on experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We also offer full benefits including: Medical Dental Vision and 401K.
Qualified Fabricator-Welder will have most if not all of the following skills and experience:
- 2 years of recent / relevant experience with MIG welding.
- 2 years of recent experience with cranes and rigging of large heavy plates structural steel sections and welded assemblies.
- Lay-out position align and tack parts and assemblies prior to welding
- Must be able to pass a Weld Test including setting up a MIG Weld Machine
- Must be able to read fabrication and assembly drawings with typical weld symbols.
- Must have experience with welding materials from 1/8 inch to 3/8 inch. Experience with 16g to 20g sheet metal is a plus.
- Experience with machine builder / millwright work is a plus but is not required
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background drug screen references etc.
