Position: Data Scientist
Location: Richmond VA (onsite)In Person Interview.
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities
Analyze procurement data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
Communicate findings to business and IT leaders to support decision-making.
Lead data mining algorithm development and build data pipelines for procurement analytics.
Design and maintain complex data processes and large datasets.
Apply machine learning and predictive analytics to procurement data.
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau Power BI and Looker.
Ensure data quality governance and compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics requirements and improve procurement strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Data Science Statistics Computer Science).
36 years of experience in data science or analytics preferably in procurement.
Proficient in SQL Python PySpark Shell Scripting PowerShell.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau Power BI Looker) and big data platforms (Spark Hive Azure Data Lake).
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and databases (Snowflake Oracle MySQL SQL Server).
Strong communication skills and business acumen in procurement.
Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Compensation
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience.
