Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Sonographer!
As a Sonographer at MercyOne you will:
- Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN abdominal breast small parts and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintains related records
- Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies
- Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff
- Know understand incorporate and demonstrate the Trinity Health Mission Vision Values Actions and Promise in behaviors practices and decisions
Schedule:
- 36 hours a week
- Mix of days and nights
- 6:00P 6:30A two nights a week and 6:00A 6:30P one day a week
- Every 6th weekend
General Requirements:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)
If not registered be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.
- ARDMS preferred but ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing Internation (CCI) also accepted
- Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CMEs every 3 yrs/annual payment)
- Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter
