Job Description
At the Historic Hotel Julien Dubuque we strive to provide an exceptional guest experience that reflects the grandeur and elegance of our historic landmark. As a Room Attendant you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing Personalized Service:
- Warmly welcome and assist guests with inquiries offering personalized service that reflects the unique character of the Hotel Julien Dubuque.
- Maintaining Immaculate Guest Rooms:
- Meticulously change bed linens and make beds with attention to detail ensuring a luxurious and inviting ambiance.
- Replace used towels with pristine linens and replenish bathroom amenities showcasing the hotels commitment to guest comfort.
- Perform thorough floor care including sweeping mopping and vacuuming maintaining the impeccable standards expected of a historic landmark.
- Impeccably clean toilets bathroom sinks showers whirlpools and floors ensuring a sparkling and hygienic environment.
- Dust and polish furniture with care preserving the hotels elegant decor and showcasing its historical significance.
- Maintaining a Pristine Environment:
- Empty trash containers promptly and maintain cleanliness in public areas such as corridors contributing to an overall inviting atmosphere.
- Proactive Maintenance:
- Promptly report any technical issues or maintenance needs to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Ensuring Guest Satisfaction:
- Guarantee that every guest room assigned to you is meticulously cleaned and organized by the end of your shift exceeding guest expectations.
- Maintaining Operational Efficiency:
- Return and replenish the cleaning cart at the end of your shift ensuring efficient operations.
- Assist in conducting deep cleaning of rooms as needed maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Prepare sheet packs for the following day contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of housekeeping.
- Teamwork and Support:
- Assist fellow team members as needed fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
