The Controls Design Engineer will design and modify electrical control systems for industrial applications particularly within the Water/Wastewater industry. This position involves AutoCAD drafting component selection electrical studies (arc flash voltage drop etc.) and field/startup support.

This is Temp to possible perm role that will require to be fully on site.

Qualifications:

  • 1 years of electrical controls design experience preferably in the Water/Wastewater industry
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for control schematics wiring diagrams and electrical layouts
  • Knowledge of VFDs HMIs transformers control panels and related hardware
  • Ability to perform load analysis arc flash short circuit and voltage drop calculations
  • Familiarity with national electrical codes and standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with clients
  • Field/start-up support experience highly preferred
  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required
