We are looking for a DevOps Expert (f/m/d) for the newly founded Cloud Delivery Germany as part of SAPs Sovereign Cloud Organization. With the buildout of new Sovereign Cloud regions you will be taking part in laying the foundation towards a unified and competitive business in the regulated industry.

You will be responsible for production cloud operations of our multitenant solutions in Germany.

The role includes the following tasks:

• Cloud Operations: Design implement monitor maintain and optimize the SAP Sovereign Cloud system landscape for Germany.
• Setup of a multi-system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies.
• Provide on-call support for incidents and performance degradations.
• Continuous improvement of implementation documentation
• Partner with engineering team to design and enhance the cloud operation processes

What you will bring

• Experience in cloud operations of at least one SAP solution (e.g. HCM BTP SAC etc.)
• Desire and ability to work independently on complex issues as well as collaborate efficiently with experts across different time zones to anticipate issues that impact customer success
• Expertise with GitLab
• Familiar with Terraform and Ansible
• Expertise with Linux SUSE
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with some of the following: Kubernetes Helm Python BASH scripting
• Experience with hyperscaler services Experience with Cloud Computing and Databases
• Debugging/Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multitask and handle various projects deadlines and changing prioritie
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties
• Flexibility to work in shifts ensuring consistent coverage and support
• Commitment to maintaining daily office presence for efficient team collaboration
