Job Description

  • $94000 Including Superannuation Bonuses
  • Fantastic Port Adelaide opportunity
  • Full time Monday Friday role 8 hour days

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Manager at our Port Adelaide facility you will operate and maintain mobile and fixed plant in a safe secure and reliable way to achieve maximum through put and resource utilisation.

You will also;

  • Have the ability to positively contribute to our safe inclusive and high - performance culture
  • Have a solid commitment to promoting and championing a Zero Harm safety culture in the workplace
  • Be responsible for site maintenance activities while meeting customer service requirements
  • Champion in-house safety processes including:
    • Permit to work systems
    • Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
    • Safety work instructions
  • Promote and uphold the Zero Harm safety culture and operational vision
  • Be computer literate (experience with SAP is beneficial)

What youll bring

Were looking for someone who can take ownership of their work area and bring a strong commitment to customer service and despatch support.

What youll bring:

Experienced Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner/Toolmaker) with current trade certification.

Experience in distribution customer service or fixed plant environments.

Willing and capable of working with exposure to manual handling tasks.

You have Year 10 secondary school education at a minimum.

High attention to detail with an appreciation of site cleanliness.

Has participated in continuous improvement processes

High Risk Work Licence - Forklift (LF) (or willing to obtain)

Licence to operate a Front End Loader ( or willing to obtain)
