The Clinic Support Specialist will open the center and provide a welcoming environment to all who visit the center. Take and deliver messages and communication with parents as needed. The Clinic Support Specialist will help maintain an organized center by ensuring appropriate supplies are stocked and ordered as needed. Ensure the lobby is clean and organized. A large part of this role will also include assisting with lunch coverage with clients. The Clinic Support Specialist will cover 30-minute lunch breaks working one-to-one with clients.
You will maintain confidentiality of organization personnel general knowledge of all organizational projects including their purposes/activities and can identify staff and on-site volunteers with assigned projects. The Clinic Support Specialist will keep the Clinical Director well-informed of activities results of efforts problems identified and any potential solutions.
Clinical Managers are notified within 30 minutes of daily start time regarding staff absences/delays updates. Assist with clinical timesheet corrections and submissions. Ensure all parent/guardian signatures are collected during drop-off or pickup. Prepare and process any outgoing Center mail. Ensure kitchen appliances and bathrooms are kept neat clean and stocked with appropriate supplies. As needed inform supervisors in advance as to supplies needed and if office/kitchen appliances are not functioning properly. You will ensure that common areas are equipped with office supplies as needed. As needed performs other tasks necessary for the operation and presentation of a professional office and reception area.
Personal Skills and Knowledge:
Strong preference for candidates with problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated responsible honest articulate have excellent time management skills and skills to work independently. You have a professional demeanor are well-organized and pay attention to detail. The candidate can maintain professional boundaries professional composure work well under pressure and politely interact with individuals and families who may be uncooperative or aloof. You also demonstrate effective communication skills to interact with clients family members and the agency staff.
