About the Minnesota Community & Family Resource Network:
The Minnesota Community & Family Resource Network (CFRN) supports the development of Community and Family Resource Centers in Minnesota based on community needs and driven by community partners with support and collaboration with governmental agencies. The network serves as the backbone entity to leverage and coordinate the collective impact of its members and supports member organizations to provide high quality culturally relevant services and supports to Minnesota families. The long-term goal is to improve the health safety and well-being of Minnesota children and their families. Wilder Research an independent research division of the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation will transition into this network role over the coming months.
The MN CFRN is a membership-based network comprising over 25 Family Resource Centers in more than 40 counties across Minnesota to-date focused on strengthening and supporting families based on the nationally recognized Family Resource Center model. Minnesota is a member of the National Family Support Network (NFSN) which includes actively participating in NFSN events regularly attending Member meetings and receiving technical assistance from NFSN.
Job duties:
The Community and Family Resource Network Manager serves as a hub for communication administration and events for the MN CFRN. The Network Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration communication and capacity-building among the network of Family Resource Centers (FRCs). This position is responsible for facilitating the effective functioning of the network ensuring alignment with shared goals promoting best practices and advocating for the collective needs of the FRCs and the families they serve. The Manager will work closely with the National Family Support Network (NFSN) FRC staff partner organizations and community stakeholders to strengthen the impact and sustainability of the network. Internally this position will have research and evaluation support from Wilder Research team members as well as organizational support from information technology administrative and communications teams.
This role will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating Community and Family Resource Network meetings and workgroups initiatives and events including participation in NFSN activities; coordinating and supporting membership development; building capacity across the network and supporting training and technical assistance needs; collecting and reporting data in partnership with Wilder Research; and promoting advocacy and resource development at the local regional and state levels. This position also requires in-person meetings with network members and partners across Minnesota as well as periodic travel for national meetings convening and conferences.
Job Qualifications

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in social work human services education public administration or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in family support community development or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in network development coalition building or collaborative initiatives.
Strong facilitation communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Knowledge of the principles of family support child development and community resources.
Experience with data collection analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in using technology and online communication platforms including Microsoft Office and related office software.
A commitment to equity diversity and inclusion and to supporting and engaging network members in both rural and urban communities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation (required for travel within the network area).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working directly with Family Resource Centers or similar community-based organizations or models.
Familiarity with the landscape of family support services in Minnesota.
Grant writing and fundraising experience.
Experience running a network or professional organization.
