What were looking for:

We are looking for an ambitious professional eager to grow with an industry leader. The Lean Technician will be responsible for supporting all areas of manufacturing to improve safety quality and productivity. This role will be focused on stockroom operations. They will assist the manufacturing engineering team to achieve Key Performance Indicators and company goals. Assist with process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing methods six sigma and other problem-solving tools.

The Operations Excellence Manufacturing Lean Technician will assist in troubleshooting stockroom operations issues assist in design of meaningful and accurate performance measurement systems to increase productivity develop process documentation improve process flow and maintain the stockroom layout.

What youll be responsible for in this role:

• Assist with evaluating and developing innovative solutions to engineering manufacturing and stockroom operations problems.
• Assist with the plan work force utilization space requirements and workflow and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Assist with lean exercises KAIZEN events.
• Maintain Standard Work and work instruction to communicate manufacturing requirements to stockroom/operations personnel.
• Evaluate recommend and implement change to current stockroom processes by analyzing operations labor standards and material cost reviewing schedules and estimating future requirements.
• Additional duties as required.

What are the basic qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3 years relevant experience in Stockroom operations

What are the preferred qualifications

• Bachelors Degree
