Sprout Social is looking to hire an Account Executive LATAM (SMB) to join the Sales & Success team.

What youll do

  • Drive new business growth to both net new and existing customers by managing a strong pipeline of qualified leads and initiating meaningful conversations with key stakeholders across Latin America in companies in our LATAM SMB segment (defined as customers with 1-100 employees).
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets including activity metrics pipeline development and quota attainment.
  • Research and deeply understand your prospects businesses using a variety of tools and data sources to gain insight into their brand goals KPIs and partnershipspositioning yourself as a strategic and trusted advisor.
  • Own your performance metrics by executing a high level of sales activity and building a reliable pipeline that ensures long-term success in the LATAM market.
  • Become an expert in Sprout Socials platform and the evolving social media landscape confidently articulating the value of new features and industry trends to help customers achieve their objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing customer success and product teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience tailored to the unique needs of the LATAM region.

What youll bring

Sprout Social is seeking a highly motivated tech-savvy and collaborative Account Executive to join our growing Sales team. You are a natural relationship-builder with strong business acumen equally passionate about delivering value to customers and closing new business opportunities across the LATAM region.

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • 6 months of full-cycle B2B sales experience with a proven ability to close deals (SaaS experience strongly preferred)
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and performance metrics

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience in social media technology digital marketing or marketing automation
  • Strong organizational presentation and communication skills across phone email and virtual product demos
  • Proficiency with or similar CRM platforms
  • Familiarity with the business culture and sales landscape in Latin America

How youll grow

Within 1 month youll plant your roots including:

  • Completing Sprout Socials new hire training & onboarding program alongside other new Sprout team members. Youll gain a broader understanding of our products and how your role fits into the organization.
  • Partner with your manager to define key success metrics for your role and how you will be measured against them.
  • Acclimating yourself with the day-to-day responsibilities of the Account Executive team by shadowing team members and listening to recorded customer calls and demos.
  • Learning Sprouts go-to-market messaging and key differentiators as well as developing and personalizing segment-specific value propositions.
  • Learning Sprouts existing customer sales process by shadowing your peers and working closely with our Sales Enablement Specialists.
  • Completing a demo and a written certification to ensure comprehension.

Within 3 months youll start hitting your stride by:

  • Becoming fully ramped in your role as an Account Executive LATAM
  • Managing a strong pipeline of qualified leads and beginning the process of self-generating a pipeline with key accounts and strategic stakeholders.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly activity pipeline and new business metrics
  • Conducting active research leveraging all available tools and data sources to understand your customers brand culture KPIs partners and success metrics so you can add value throughout your interactions and become a trusted advisor.

Within 6 months youll be making a clear impact through:

  • Owning your numbers - consistently meeting and exceeding your activity goals to build a fruitful pipeline that will provide consistent quota attainment.
  • Becoming a Sprout Social and social media expert to confidently speak to ever-changing trends new product features and platform enhancements to help our customers realize their full potential and accomplish their goals.

Within 12 months youll make this role your own by:

  • Consistently meeting and exceeding monthly activity pipeline and new business metrics.
  • Stepping up as a leader to share best practices across the organization and help others grow from your experiences.
  • Obtaining and acting upon peer and customer feedback (solicited and unsolicited) .

Of course what is outlined above is the ideal timeline but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.

Whenever possible Sprout wants to provide our team with the flexibility to work in the location that makes the most sense for them. Sprout maintains a remote workforce in many places in the United States. However we are not set up in all states so please look at the drop-down box in our application to see whether your state is listed. Few roles require an office setting. If your position requires a physical presence in a Sprout office it will be evident in the job listing and your offer letter.

In the United States we have two geographic pay zones. This roles On Target Earnings (OTE) for new hires in each zone are:

  • Zone 1 (New York California Washington): $101200 (min) $126500 (mid) $139150 (max) USD annually
  • Zone 2 (All other US states): $92000 (min) $115000 (mid) $126500 (max) USD annually

OTE is governed by an incentive plan. It is the sum of a fixed base salary plus incentives at target performance. Incentive compensation will vary based on performance. The incentive plan is uncapped.

The listed ranges represent the expected earning potential in this position. Starting salaries for well-qualified new hires are typically around the midpoint of the range. These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set equitable consistent and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation bi-annually identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.

OTE is only one element of an employees total compensation at Sprout. Every Sprout team member has an opportunity to receive restricted stock units (RSUs) under Sprouts equity plan. Employees (and their dependents) are covered by medical dental vision basic life accidental death and dismemberment insurance and Modern Health (a wellness benefit). Employees are able to enroll in Sprouts companys 401k plan in which Sprout will match 50% of your contributions up to 6% with a maximum contribution. Sprout offers Flexible Paid Time Off and ten paid holidays.
