You will be an expert resource in the SAP FI-CO solution within Syntax and our customers. You will be the person stakeholders trust to work with and collaborate with because of your ability to manage complex challenges by finding cost-effective solutions while demonstrating the added value of your expertise and our solutions.
Your tasks:
- Participate in business and architecture planning sessions and anticipate future business and architecture changes and strategies
- Estimates assumption schedule scope role definition and responsibilities
- Review and challenge functional specifications for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with the implementation lead and/or project manager to communicate the business process strategy and vision; facilitate business process review meetings with business stakeholders
- Define release deployment and rollout strategies
- Identify and communicate risks (business application technical) associated with the implementation of components or applications at the business and enterprise level (in collaboration with Enterprise Architect)
- Manage changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system improvements
- Provide consulting services on new implementations and existing support projects
- Act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as needed
- Work independently and autonomously; may mentor less experienced members
You have:
- At least 10 years experience in SAP FICO as a consultant (experience with S/4 Hana
on-prem or cloud a great asset)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French (*This is a requirement since in this role you will be dealing with customers partners and/or our international subsidiaries requiring communication in English on a recurring basis both verbally and in writing)
