What a day in the life of a Cabinet Maker at REV looks like:
- Fabricating and installing cabinet components and hardware.
- Mark outlines or dimensions of parts according to blueprints or drawing specifications
- Cutting 45-degree miters on aluminum and anodized trim
- Adhering laminate to the substrate with contact adhesive
- Final assembly of parts and hardware
Required education skills and experience to be successful:
- Preferred 1-year experience in cabinet making or similar experience
- Preferred high school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions
- Overtime may be required based on business needs. This position may require mandatory overtime up to three (3) out of four (4) Fridays per month.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
- Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns
- Ability to work from ladders and scaffolding
- Must have the ability to read write and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance
- Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successful completion of the drug and background screening

- Frequent bending stooping squatting and climbing up and down ladders and scaffolding
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs without assistance
- Ability to work with arms above head
- Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area.
- Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments
