As a Solutions Architect at AWS youll build technical relationships with customers and operate as their trusted advisor ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.
Youll manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers making recommendations on security cost performance reliability and operational efficiency to accelerate their projects. Internally you will be the voice of the customer sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
In this role your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions with the opportunity to implement cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases. You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers code samples blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops user groups meetups public speaking online videos or conferences).

This role is within the Israel organization and you would be working with large enterprises multi-national-companies global R&D centers.
Key job responsibilities
You will work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.
You operate as a trusted-advisor for customers. Their best interests will shape the guidance you provide. You work backwards from their priorities and find inventive ways to add value with solutions utilizing AWS and its Partners technology.
You capture and share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for AWS. You use your customer understanding to participate in the creation or updates of technical content and reference architectures (e.g. white papers code samples blog posts).
Evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. workshops user groups meetups public speaking online videos or conferences).

A day in the life
The Solutions Architect team at AWS is responsible for helping customers successfully implement cloud technologies. In a typical week you will meet multiple customers and you will collaborate with them on designing and operating well-architected solutions. You will earn their trust and show them the art of the possible educating them around the capabilities of AWS. Partnering with internal teams and experts leveraging a deep knowledge of our tools and products youll craft highly-scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address our customers business problems. - Background in any of the following: Cloud Architecture Systems Design Software Development Infrastructure Architecture Data Engineering or DevOps.
- Technical Degree (Computer Science Maths Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew.
- A passion for technology and for learning.
- Experience architecting migrating transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
- Presentations and whiteboarding with and for internal and external executives IT management and developers.
- Experience working with or for local Israeli enterprises (financial telco retail etc.)
