Job Description
Remote Nurse (LVN LPN or RN U.S. Licensed)
Location: Remote Philippines-based candidates preferred
Compensation: $1300-$1700/month (USD) for LPN/ LVN with 1-2 years experience $1600-2000 for RN with 2 years of experience (slightly negotiable)
Industry: Senior Care / Care Management
Schedule: Full-time U.S. business hours (CST preferred) Monday to Friday 9AM - 5PM
About the Role
We are seeking a Philippines-based Nurse who is highly detail-oriented and proactive with U.S.-nursing license (LVN LPN or RN) to join our care operations team in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of prescription information within our electronic records system contributing directly to the quality of care provided to seniors and their families.
The ideal candidate will be a U.S licensed nurse based in the Philippines who is confident working with clinical data and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills. You will act as a key support to our clinical and care coordination teams by reviewing medication changes and ensuring timely and accurate updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Review incoming prescription change notifications within the electronic medical records (EMR) platform
- Verify and reconcile updates related to:
- Medication names and dosages
- Prescription start and end dates
- Frequency and administration timing
- Medication names and dosages
- Ensure that all medication records are accurate and compliant
- Cross-check physician directives and pharmacy notes for alignment
- Communicate clearly with internal care teams when discrepancies arise
- Maintain meticulous documentation within the EMR system
- Adhere to HIPAA standards and privacy protocols at all times
- Participate in regular virtual team meetings and training updates
Qualifications
- Current and active LVN LPN or RN license issued in any U.S. state (required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience ideally including chart review or medication reconciliation
- Prior experience working remotely with a U.S.-based healthcare or senior care company is a plus
- Solid understanding of U.S. prescription protocols and documentation standards
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems (e.g. PointClickCare Athena or similar)
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet professional home workspace
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Availability to work full-time during U.S. Central Time (CST) hours
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with geriatric or elder care
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance in a remote work setting
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
