Job Description

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Xero QuickBooks (Intuit) and MYOB.
  • Reconcile bank transactions and ensure accuracy in general ledgers.
  • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist with payroll and superannuation tasks as required.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports.
  • Capture and categorise receipts using DEXT and Hubdoc.
  • Collaborate with our accountant for BAS and end-of-period reporting.
  • Maintain compliance and security using Practice Protect.
  • Maintain internal records systems and process documentation.
  • Manage internal inbox and support task tracking.
  • Organise files folders and templates within Google Workspace.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes for staff or contractors.
  • Perform general admin tasks to support the team and Director.
  • Ensure all work is delivered on time accurately and with minimal supervision.



Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles.
  • Proven experience using Xero QuickBooks MYOB DEXT and Hubdoc.
  • High level of reliability and accountability
  • Excellent written and spoken English comprehension.
  • Strong organisational skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
