Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Queensland Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team and work on a commercial portfolio located on the Gold Coast as part of a mixed-use precinct. This position would suit someone who has previously worked in a commercial office facilities management environment with experience in Building Management Statements - shared services and areas. This role is based on site from the Commercial Management Office.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain the commercial and car park assets plant and equipment to ensure optimal asset performance efficiency life cycle planning and functionality.
  • Drive best practice by collaborating managing and administering the Colliers - Nationally driven comprehensive compliance program particularly in regards-to risk management for critical site operations its occupants and processes.
  • Manage the relevant budget expenditure for the commercial and car park assets in collaboration with the Commercial Body Corporate committee.
  • Negotiate maintenance contracts facilitate and manage services tenders provide expenditure and performance data for regular monthly and quarterly reporting requirements to clients.
  • Actively maintain compliance with regard-to OH&S obligations completing audits and reviews as required by Colliers the client and the relevant legislation
  • Support the Commercial Body Corporate committee with regards to their responsibilities and involvement in the CMS/BMS.

Qualifications :

To excel in this position you will ideally have:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills and the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders including tenants clients body Corporate committees and contractors.
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to resolve issues quickly and autonomously
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certifications (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of industry best practice sustainability and legislative compliance
  • Good building services operational and technical knowledge and risk management experience
