ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Trains and coaches all Room Service employees on 4-star service standards to ensure the best customer experience.
- Assist with scheduling staff in an efficient manner to best cover the demands of the business. Monitors that all scheduled staff have reported to work and makes schedule adjustments for proper coverage as needed.
- When necessary acts as a backup for Room Service staff by taking orders and delivering meals to designated rooms.
- Committed to providing the highest level of customer service. Communicates effectively to develop good working relationships with all guests and co-workers both over the phone and in person.
- Knowledgeable about the in-room dining menu. Able to answer any questions guests may have and provide recommendations if requested.
- Provides guests with accurate information about the in-room dining meal delivery.
- Proficient in entering in-room dining orders into the point-of-sale system.
- Prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Responds to all customer complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner. Resolves any problems involving guest or Room Service employees involving security if necessary.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
- Attends frequent meetings with the Food & Beverage Director. Performs other duties including special projects as needed and directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated hospitality or restaurant management experience preferably within a gaming environment.
- Demonstrated experience directing employees in restaurant operations.
- Demonstrated experience upholding 4-star standards.
- Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience.
- One (1) or more years of recent and related restaurant management experience preferably within a hospitality or gaming environment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$22.00 an hour based on experience
