Insurance & Bad Faith Litigation Attorney
Remote Hybrid California Offices National Litigation Practice
A growing and dynamic national litigation firm is seeking an experienced Insurance and Bad Faith Litigation Attorney to join its expanding team in one of its California offices or remotely. With a strong national presence and a reputation for delivering high-quality results across jurisdictions the firm is looking for a talented litigator with a minimum of five years of experience to handle complex insurance and bad faith matters.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of insurance coverage and litigation matters including breach of contract and bad faith claims. This role offers significant autonomy flexibility in work arrangements and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that values innovation strategic thinking and professional growth.
Responsibilities:

Litigate insurance coverage and bad faith cases in California and other jurisdictions

Handle all aspects of litigation including pleadings discovery motion practice alternative dispute resolution and trial preparation

Provide insurance coverage analyses and strategic litigation advice to clients

Work on cases in both state and federal courts

Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups
Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
-
Active California Bar license in good standing
-
At least five years of litigation experience with a minimum of two years in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation

Proven ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution

Excellent legal research analytical and writing skills
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Base salary range: $150000 $200000 commensurate with experience
