A reputable veterinary practice in Sugar Land TX is seeking an experiencedVeterinary Oncologist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled oncologist who is passionate about advancing cancer care in animals while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat cancer in animals providing accurate and compassionate care.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for cancer patients.
- Provide supportive care to animals undergoing treatment for cancer.
- Educate pet owners on cancer treatment options and the importance of follow-up care.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Board certification in veterinary oncology (required).
- At least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting with a focus on oncology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to educate and engage with clients.
- A passion for improving the lives of animals and their families through effective cancer treatment.
