Global Sales Specialist - Chemicals

(VP Sales Chemicals)

Are you a driven and strategic thinker with a passion for the chemical industry Were looking for aChemicals Sales Specialistto spearhead growth and unlock new opportunities across our chemical product portfolio. This is a high-impact role focused on expanding our market presence and building long-term client relationships.

What will you be doing

  • Work alongside the Account Managers on leads and new business opportunities
  • Roll out global New Business Themes
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in base chemicals
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients and industry stakeholders. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy
  • Working with internal stakeholders to build tailored solutions for our clients to drive revenue growth
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and tailored solutions to potential clients
  • Track sales performance and provide regular pipeline updates
  • Represent the company at trade shows conferences and networking events

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Business or related field (Masters a plus)
  • 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in the chemical sector
  • Strong knowledge of base chemical products applications and market dynamics
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing new markets
  • Pro-active agile and able to work at pace
  • Comfortable reviewing data to identify trends opportunities and challenges
  • Superb communicator one-to-one and with groups at all seniority levels
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Able to work effectively in a matrix organisation using influencing and engaging colleagues to achieve your objectives
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
