CMM Inspector
- Salary: 35000 - 39000 (inc shift)
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5
- Location: Basingstoke
- Hours: Rotating Shifts: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm (Mon-Fri)

At Syntech Recruitment we work closely with high-precision manufacturers who are leaders in their sectorsfrom aerospace to medical. Our client a trusted name in engineered solutions is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their expert team in Basingstoke.
CMM Inspector responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspection of parts using manual and automated tools (CMM VMM micrometers gauges).
- Support New Product Development (NPD) with inspections and reporting.
- Write and maintain accurate inspection reports with clear pass/fail criteria.
- Liaise with technical teams to resolve quality issues and provide feedback.
- Assist with CAPA investigations and support internal/external audits.
- Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) including Gauge R&R.
- Support calibration activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
CMM Inspector requirements:
- Minimum HNC in an Engineering discipline or strong proven QC/QA experience.
- Confident with GD&T and using metrology equipment.
- Experienced in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Skilled in report writing and documentation.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Desirable:
- HND in Engineering.
- Programming or advanced use of CMM/VMM systems.
- Exposure to Six Sigma tools (Yellow/Green Belt).
