Email and Push Notification Writer (Telemedicine Company)
Location: Remote- US Based Only
Type: Full-time/Contract
Job Overview:
Were seeking a highly empathetic creative and data-driven Email and Push Notification Writer to craft personalized segmented campaigns that keep our patients engaged throughout their healthcare journey. You will write for a variety of patient typesurgent care chronic conditions dermatology mental health womens/mens health and weight losstranslating medical expertise into highly relatable emotionally resonant content. Your writing will drive patient retention increase sales boost lifetime value (LTV) and support our mission of delivering accessible affordable and reliable care.
Responsibilities:
- Create segmented email & push notification flows for different patient categories and lifecycle stages (new returning lapsed).
- Write empathetic human-centered messaging that reflects the patient journey and reinforces trust in our brand.
- Collaborate with care product and marketing teams to understand end-to-end patient flows value propositions and clinical priorities.
- Use data (open rates CTRs conversions) to test optimize and improve performance over time.
- Maintain consistent brand tone and voice across all communications.
- Assist in automating campaigns within platforms like Klaviyo Iterable or Braze.
Key Skills:
- Email & mobile push copywriting (short- and long-form)
- Patient-centered storytelling and segmentation
- Basic knowledge of lifecycle marketing (onboarding retention reactivation)
- Understanding of HIPAA-compliant communications (preferred)
- Experience with healthcare telemedicine or wellness brands is a strong plus

Candidate Has:
- 2 years writing email and push notifications for B2C preferably in healthcare or wellness
- Strong grasp of behavioral triggers and personalization tactics
- Ability to distill complex medical topics into helpful easy-to-understand content
- Familiarity with A/B testing and performance metrics
- Passion for creating content that improves peoples lives
Salary: $16-$22/hourly
