Overview:
Our ODSSeniorDevOpsEngineer role focuses on maintaining and supporting our extensive AWS environment. We seek a candidate with strong AWS Linux and problem-solving skills and a passion for cutting edge cloud services. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure automation. Experience with compliance is highly desired. AWS certification not required but highly desired. Job Description Summary:
Job Description:
- Collaborates with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system requirements and specifications. Works with other IT professionals to ensure system compatibility and integration.
- Conducts research on emerging technologies and makes recommendations for adoption.
- Creates and maintains technical documentation for system architecture design and implementation including technical specifications and user manuals.
- Designs and develops information system architecture that aligns with business objectives.
- Ensures system security and data privacy are maintained throughout the architecture. Defines and implements system security and data backup procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Evaluates current systems and proposes modifications to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Recommends hardware and software technologies to implement the efficiencies and upgrades to the organizations information systems.
- Provides technical guidance and support to development teams other IT staff and end-users throughout the system development life cycle.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree in relevant Computer Science field or equivalent experience required.
- Masters Degree preferred.
Licensure Requirement:

Relevant certification for specific field preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal presentation mentoring and verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of PC desktop applications such as MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Project.
Experience:
- Ten years of experience with IT operations and related technologies required.
- Three years of experience in health care environments preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
