Pediatric Endocrinologist - INTEGRIS Health - Oklahoma City

INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City OK is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Endocrinologist to be the second within a patient top rated outpatient practice. This is a unique opportunity to be engaged in a non-academic yet highly progressive pediatric specialty practice.

Our Pediatric Endocrinology clinic is located on the campus of INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. The practice provides care for regional patients and families.

The BC/BE position will provide rotational Pediatric Endocrinology consulting services for INTEGRIS Childrens Hospital located within INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. Pediatric subspecialty support includes:Pediatric Hospitalists Pediatric Intensivists Neonatology Pediatric Endocrinology Pediatric Gastroenterology Pediatric Neurology and Pediatric Surgery. There is strong collegial communication and collaboration.

INTEGRIS Childrens Hospital includes:

  • 26-bed pediatric med/surg unit
  • 40-bed level III NICU
  • 10-bed PICU
  • Strong family centered care including Child Life Services

Responsibilities

The Physician responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
  • Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
  • Completes and maintains problem list medication list disease management forms preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
  • Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
  • Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
  • Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
  • Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
  • The Physician is responsible for patients.

Qualifications
  • Oklahoma MD or DO license
  • BC/BE
