Overview of the Role:
Step into a critical role where your technical expertise directly impacts patient care! As an Imaging Service Engineer 2 youll be the technological backbone ensuring diagnostic imaging equipment operates flawlessly in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position offers the perfect blend of hands-on technical work problem-solving and meaningful patient care support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect repair maintain and calibrate diagnostic imaging equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot complex medical imaging devices including Cathlab C-Arms and Ultrasound systems
- Collaborate with clinical healthcare providers to identify and resolve technology-based issues
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain detailed documentation
- Provide advanced equipment support for direct patient care
- Mentor and develop junior staff members
- Manage financial responsibilities for parts procurement and service coordination
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Associates degree in electronics biomedical engineering or related technical field
- 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance in healthcare settings
- Proven experience with Cathlab C-Arms and Ultrasound service (strongly preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities for medical imaging devices
- Excellent communication customer service and time management skills
- Hospital or healthcare environment experience required
