Job Description
As a Senior Mechanical Designer you will advance product development from project scope to production. Under minimal guidance you will be responsible for design layouts and product configurations utilizing 3D solid modeling design packages.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct engineering with building prototypes of complete systems and subsystems.
Create drawings change requests change orders bills of material etc.
Proficient with ERP systems.
Provide solutions to manufacturing and quality problems.
Education and Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Mechanical Design field or 5 years of experience.
Proficiency with Creo preferred. SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software will be considered.
Knowledge of raw materials such as aluminum plastics and steel.
Proficient with formulas to determine materials selection and load or strength capacities.
