Job description:
We are seeking a motivated Tier 1 Network Specialist to join our IT team. In this role you will
provide rst-level support for network-related issues assist with routine maintenance and gain
hands-on experience with network automation tools. You will also work alongside system
administrators to support Windows Server environments and Active Directory tasks. This is an

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to network tickets and alerts
- Perform basic troubleshooting of switches routers and rewalls
- Provide support for user access network connectivity and remote access issues
- Assist in managing and maintaining Windows Server and Active Directory environments
- Document network diagrams procedures and technical issues
- Collaborate on small automation projects using Python or Visual Basic
- Support the implementation of scripts to automate routine tasks
- Preferred Qualications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related eld (or equivalent experience) - 1-2 years of experience in network support or help desk roles
- Working knowledge of:
- TCP/IP DHCP DNS VPNs
- Windows Server administration (basic level)
- Active Directory (user account management group policies)
- Familiarity with scripting in Python or Visual Basic
- Eagerness to learn network automation tools (Ansible PowerShell etc.)
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of network monitoring tools (e.g. PRTG SolarWinds)
- Exposure to virtualization platforms (VMware Hyper-V)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Certications such as CompTIA Network CCNA or MTA: Windows Server
