About the Opportunity
Were seeking a dynamic State Commercial Manager to lead our WA commercial team and partner with cross-functional State teams to drive strategy and deliver commercial results. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting sustainable growth across our Wholesale and Independent networks through a focus on network expansion performance improvement and business transformation. Success will be enabled by strong insights and analytics and underpinned by effective fit-for-purpose governance.
What Youll Do
Contribute to State Leadership by shaping strategy and identifying transformation opportunities to drive profitability efficiency and growth.
Support the State GM in evaluating commercial risks and opportunities to inform key decisions.
Foster a high-performance culture and mentor future leaders promoting collaboration across teams.
Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across State Food Cross-Pillar and Group teams to align on strategic goals.
Maintain and enhance relationships with external stakeholders including retailers suppliers service providers and regulators.
Lead the States input into annual planning budgeting and long-term forecasting to align with financial and strategic targets.
Oversee State performance driving insights and corrective action through partnership with FP&A and Business Insights.
Drive the IGA Network Growth pipelineidentifying prioritising and executing growth and optimisation opportunities.
Lead business case development and manage contract negotiations for State investments partnering with Legal Property and National teams.
Champion continuous improvement compliance and readiness for transformation initiatives like Project Horizon ensuring strong governance and operational standards.

Strong commercial and business experience across diverse environments
Skilled in managing stakeholders within complex matrix structures
Proven contributor to leadership teams with success in strategy development and delivering commercial outcomes
Experienced in driving change continuous improvement and growth within fast-paced transformative businesses
Brings a growth mindset with a strong focus on strategic thinking and the ability to inspire and lead others through change.
Proficient in systems with strong experience using Power BI and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Superior presentation analytical and communication skills (written and verbal)
