The ECM Technical Consultant is an experienced and customer-focused professional with a strong background in Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions specifically within the OpenText suite. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the design implementation and support of OpenTexts Extended ECM platform as well as awareness of other ECM products such as OpenText Content Manager (Micro Focus) OpenText Documentum or Objective.
You will have a proven track record working in a professional services environment delivering high-quality solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. Strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential along with the ability to collaborate effectively within team and project settings.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Design configure and implement OpenText Enterprise Information Management solutions with a focus on Extended ECM and related ECM platforms ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
Provide expert-level support for deployed solutions resolving issues promptly and ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs delivering tailored solutions and providing exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality project outcomes on time and within scope contributing to all phases of project delivery including planning execution testing and handover.
Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation solution designs and client communications. Ensure stakeholders are informed of progress risks and outcomes.
What will make you successful in this role
Minimum of 5-10 years experience with OpenText Extended ECM Platform demonstrating practical experience of the following products:
o OpenText Extended ECM for Microsoft 365
o OpenText Extended ECM for SAP
o OpenText Extended ECM for Engineering
o OpenText Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors
o OpenText Extended ECM for Salesforce
o OpenText Content Server
o OpenText Archive Server
o OpenText WebReports
o AnswerModules Suite
o SAP and SuccessFactors
o Workflows
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft software including SQL Server Windows Server and Office
Basic understanding of network infrastructure technologies
Demonstrated capabilities designing new products and leading programming team to deliver
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent customer service written and verbal communication skills
Requirement gathering and specification planning
Understanding of change and release management
