Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior General Liability Claims Consultant to join our clients claims team. In this role you will be responsible for investigating evaluating negotiating and resolving complex premise liability claims across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise a commitment to superior customer service and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.

- $110000 to $140000/year total compensation(based on experience)

Job Description
- Investigate evaluate and resolve moderate to complex general liability claims with a focus on premises liability
- Analyze coverage and liability determine compensability and assess damages
- Communicate effectively with insureds claimants attorneys vendors and internal teams
- Review medical records incident reports contracts and other evidence to support claim decisions
- Accurately document claim activity and maintain a proactive file strategy
- Attend mediations settlement conferences and provide litigation management as needed
- Stay current with jurisdictional laws and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members when appropriate
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of general liability claims experience with a strong focus on premises liability
- Experience handling claims involving bodily injury property damage and legal liability issues
- Multi-jurisdictional claims handling experience is strongly preferred
- Strong investigative and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with claims systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Insurance designations such as AIC or CPCU are a plus
