Lead Medical Assistant Wellness & Pain Management Clinic
Location: Kalispell Montana
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday Day Shift
Position Summary:
Logan Health is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to join our Wellness & Pain Management Clinic. In this role you will provide both direct patient care and administrative leadership support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Assist with direct patient care including rooming patients taking vitals documenting histories and supporting procedures.
Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure optimal patient flow provider productivity and patient safety.
Coordinate and support staff scheduling payroll onboarding and training efforts in partnership with clinic leadership.
Supervise scheduling team activities including referral processing appointment scheduling recalls and provider outreach coordination.
Monitor clinical supply inventory and maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Provide guidance to staff for workflow triage and patient care questions or concerns.
Lead clinical huddles staff rounding and assist with performance metrics and reporting.
Participate in process improvement policy development and budgeting support.
Qualifications:
CMA or RMA certification required.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
At least one (1) year of leadership experience preferred.
Proficient in medical terminology clinical workflows and OSHA/HIPAA compliance standards.
RQI Healthcare Provider CPR certification required; First Aid preferred.
Strong communication critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn electronic health record and scheduling systems.

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
