Job description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team of Industry & Energy in our offices in Warsaw (Poland).

Requirements:

Have studied Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with a specialisation in Mechanics or similar.

Have between 5 to 10 years of experience with solid knowledge of the local standards and regulations in Poland.

Have participated in basic and detailed engineering stages of industrial and/or power generation projects using your knowledge of: Processes (hydraulic calculations P&ID preparation line sizing...); Preparation of technical specifications and data sheets of static and dynamic mechanical equipment.

Have license and capacity of signature in Poland.

Are a team player with technical excellence.

Work autonomously and with an innovative mindset.

Previous experience in projects related to power generation will be appreciated.

Do have an advanced level of English. A second language would be valued.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the basic and detail design within your discipline.

Ensure the correct implementation of the mechanical Polish standards and local practice in the design of the projects.

Facilitate the communication and collaboration between Poland and other nationalities participating in the projects.

Responsible for monitoring the quality of the documentation produced in your discipline.

Responsible for monitoring the time schedule compliance in direct contact with the Project Management.

Collaborate in the evaluation selection and coordination with local subcontractors and equipment suppliers in Poland.

Collaborate in the business development of industry and energy in Poland.

Responsibility for the circulation of documentation and information between the IDOM Office and the Client.
