Territory Acquisition Account Executive
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology sales and a relentless drive for new account acquisition. This role emphasizes daily prospecting and engagement with potential clients aiming to establish strong long-lasting relationships.
The impact you will have:
As a Territory Acquisition Account Executive (TAAE) you will acquire new small to medium business (SMB) customers to Softchoice in order to unleash their potential through cloud workplace and security technologies.
You will relentlessly hunt to find new customers and contacts knowing it takes several weeks to land that first meeting. You will provide expertise with the support our internal resources to showcase how Softchoice helps organizations fully realize success across cloud workplace and security.
You will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and partner with some of the most disruptive technology companies throughout North America.

Please note this role is hybrid with the expectation of being in the office 1-2 times per week.
Before you dive into your new role:
To help set you up for success we have built a 4-week training program Sales Academy. This award-winning program was built with success in mind for our people moving your Territory Account Executive career forward. You can anticipate a combination of eLearning facilitates virtual learning sessions workshops 1:1 coaching and some of fun. Our goal is to equip you with knowledge on our who we are develop or sharpen your skills meet other team members learn about our technology partners and much more.
What youll do:
Drive results with an entrepreneurial spirit uncovering new customer relationships through daily calling outreach and engagement to SMB prospects within your territory
Focus on acquiring new accounts and expanding our customer base within the assigned territory.
Grow and diversify customers by supporting their needs and pursuing new lines of business
Provide an exceptional customer experience by leveraging your strong communication skills and proactive approach
Apply analytical and strategic thinking finding unique approaches to solve customer challenges and achieve your plan
Leverage and partner with a community of technical experts vendors and pre-sales resources
Utilize knowledge of Salesforce and ZoomInfo to enhance prospecting efforts (knowledge is preferred but not required).
What youll bring to the table:
1 years in a hunter sales role with track record of success.
Strong prospecting skills and the ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Sales and business acumen with passion to learn and grow
Exceptional written verbal and presentation skills
Willingness to learn about the ever-changing world of enterprise technology.
Self-motivated goal-oriented and driven by financial incentives.
Familiarity with Salesforce and ZoomInfo is a plus but not a requirement.
Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
