We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our Global and Tropical Health Division and contribute to a series of exciting and impactful vaccine clinical trials.
This role involves participant recruitment study visits data collection vaccine administration and working across bothurban and remote settings.
The Role:
The successful applicant will be a key member of a dynamic multidisciplinary team and will play an essential role in ensuring research is conducted to the highest ethical and clinical standards including in culturally safe and respectful ways.
About you:
As a motivated individual you will come with tertiary nursing qualifications and the ability to obtain and maintain registration with the relevant Health Professions Licensing Authority with several years relevant proven experience in either a hospital or community-based health service setting or significant experience in project or clinical trial management related medical research projects.
You also have:
A Willingness to complete clinical research training (e.g. GCP).
Demonstrated immunisation skills and experience working with children and adults.
Strong venepuncture and biological sample handling skills.
Excellent communication skills including working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.

The benefits:
Base Salary $99341 - $107806 per annum (Total remuneration package including superannuation $123442 - $133092 per annum pro-rata).
Generous leave provisions including 6 weeks annual leave (pro rata).
Salary packaging up to $15900 per annum and $2650 meal and entertainment card tax free.
