Program Operations Accountant

The Program Operations Accountant assists all programs at agency to control expenses and maximize resources. The position utilizes education and training to make sound business decisions ensuring compliance with local state and federal regulations. It leverages knowledge of programmatic requirements financial systems policies and processes exercising discretion and independent judgment in projects and business operations.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration
Preferences: Governmental accounting experience/knowledge; One (1) year of supervisory experience
Substitutions: High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years experience
Experience: Two (2) years in accounting
License/Certifications: Valid Texas Drivers License
