Job Description
Purpose of the Position:
Work with ACSI painters to produce a quality finished product each and every time by using personal skills equipment and established manufacturing processes associated with finished paint coatings including wet and/or powder coat paint applications.
Essential job functions:
- Meet and or exceed company metrics including Safety; Quality; Cost; and Delivery.
- Work with painters to reduce waste in manufacturing processes.
- Read and interpret drawings allowing manufacturing to build to the design intent.
- Prep raw material for the painter to apply paint.
- Mix paint pots for the painters.
- Keep area clean and free of any safety hazards.
- Adhere to any established painting prep processes.
- Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor or lead man.
Knowledge skills and abilities:
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Ability to understand and execute directions from supervisor and or lead man.
- Knowledge of reading measurement equipment; tape measure mil thickness gage.
- 1-3 years experience in paint process applications preferably Steel and metal structures.
- 1-3 years working with finished goods painters
Physical Demands:
- 100% shop.
Hours:
Week: 40 Lunch: 30 minutes Sitting: Standing: 50% Walking: 50%
