As a Service Specialist youll be the trusted technical expert representing Siemens in the field; delivering high-impact service and support for building automation systems across the greater Philadelphia area southern New Jersey (NJ) and northern Delaware (DE). Your role is essential in helping our customers optimize energy use reduce operational costs and advance sustainability goals. Whether responding to urgent service calls or executing planned maintenance and upgrades youll be the go-to resource for ensuring system performance and customer satisfaction.
Our new office location will be in Harleysville PA. This position will focus on customer support southwards into southern NJ northern DE and the greater southern Philadelphia area so being located within this territory is ideal.
As a Service Specialist you will:
Lead service delivery for automation systems including preventive maintenance diagnostics repairs and upgradesboth scheduled and on-demand
Collaborate with internal teams such as Service Sales Client Service Managers and the Digital Service Center to ensure seamless execution of service strategies and digitalization initiatives; develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers to identify needs and resolve issues
Maintain compliance with Siemens and customer safety protocols follow mandatory policies and procedures coordinate with contractors as needed and ensure tools and test equipment are properly maintained
Manage service tickets and preventive maintenance schedules perform system checkouts and support system startups for project transitions to service; complete service ticket documentation and run reports
Provide hands-on training and operational guidance to customer personnel while identifying and reporting system discrepancies recommending upgrade opportunities assisting in pricing repairs and enhancements to existing agreements and supporting system checkout and startup activities
Participate in final job site walks and system turnover activities and perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth transition from project to service phase
Participate in on-call rotations and support after-hours service needs (emergency and on-site) including occasional overnight travel; perform repairs as required
Utilize Siemens tools and remote technologies to monitor diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently while identifying and quoting deficiency repairs and managing associated deadlines
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
2 years of experience performing preventive maintenance diagnosing/troubleshooting and repairing building automation systems
Experience with open protocols such as BACnet Modbus or TCP/IP ethernet and networking
Programming job start-up and checkout
Able and willing to work in a variety of circumstances including climbing ladders scaffolds and high lift equipment working in ducts crawl spaces roofs basements above ceilings and in various conditions
Able to use hand tools laptop email smartphone and tablet as well as able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook)
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid drivers license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens fleet vehicle Program
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Willing and available to work on-call as needed including nights weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma
Engineering and programming (PLC or BMS) background
Experience with a variety of HVAC controls systems building management systems (BMS) direct digital controls (DDC)

The pay range for this position is $61500 - $105400 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience knowledge skills qualifications and premium geographic location.
