Jefferson Healthcare is expanding and we are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills be organized and detail-oriented and have a passion for helping others. Responsibilities include greeting patients scheduling appointments answering patient phone calls and maintaining a clean and welcoming waiting area. The ability to multitask and handle patient inquiries with sensitivity and professionalism is a must. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. What youll need:
- High School degree or equivalent required
- One year of related experience in a clinical or medical office or other related experience required
- Candidates with Customer Service experience are encouraged to apply!
- Experience or education providing basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience answering high volumes of phone calls preferred
Schedule: 1.0 FTE 40hr/week; Day Shift No weekends!
