Job Description
Bengal Crane and Rigging is a dynamic leader in the industry - logistics transportation crane rigging etc. sector committed to providing excellent service and operational efficiency. We are seeking multiple Material Handling Operators for a position in Convent La.
Basic Job Functions:
Responsible for the unloading of iron ore pellets in the ore yard and the loading of product onto the
iron oxide and DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) material handling systems. The Production Utility works
rotating shifts and reports directly to the Production Shift Supervisor.
Performs routine housekeeping through the plant.
Performs continual checks on equipment in the field.
Operates a forklift skytrack and manlift.
Monitors instrumentation readings in the field.
Relays field information back to the DCS Operator.
Performs maintenance on conveyors and rollers.
Troubleshoots equipment in the material handling areas.
Makes mechanical repairs as necessary for efficient operation.
Performs housekeeping duties in the work area to include shoveling and sweeping.

housekeeping standards at all times.

Preferences:
Experience with DRI production handling or use
Experience with basic maintenance on conveyor systems
